A local shop tech I know had a Sony that had 3 lines at top of picture,
like vert retrace lines, may be only one: red, green or blue in color.
He was told this: Entered service mode, adjusted the "reference", or
"ref" parameter. Chose either value 1,2 or 3, whichever clears it.
This was seen in a 32" and a 46" Sony, but I don't have specific model
number.
Give it a try.
