Kevin: Replace the tuner. Or at least sub it. I have seen the tuner cause no audio even in the video mode on Sony's. This 5 year old Sony has no audio on tuner or video 1. I input a signal into pins 7, 8, 10, and 11 of the audio amplifier IC402 (TDA8580) and got sound on the speakers. I also confirmed a B+ of 24 volts going to the audio amp at pins 3 and 15. I am suspecting the jungle IC, but need the SM to confirm. Thanks.
