Scope the collector pulse of the horizontal output when starting the set.


Clean pulse = Flyback Prob OK
Ugly Pulse = Flyback not Ok

Set Would Pulse And Shut Down.
Vertical Ic Shorted.
Ic561, 875969671, Aka Stv9379
D530, Shorted, 871997985
R536, Open, 126028811, 1/2w .47ohms

Replaced Micro, Set Would Run, But No Vertical.
Micro, Ic001, 180116501, M306vme-109sp

Still No Vertical Pulses.
Jungle, Ic301 Pin 61, (Data) Very Low Amplitude.

Cause:  Comb Filter Ic302 Pin16 Data.
Desoldered Pin 16, Set Came Up With Degraded Picture.
Replaced Ic301 670159701, Aka Tc90ab69n.  Fixed.
