Buck, model is a typo right (KV24FV300 right?) don`t have the schematic but I have run into one or two of these, check IC600 and see if voltage is constantly fluctuating on pins 2 & 3 if so replace bridge D611 (part of it will check bad) USE SONY ONLY, it`s a special high speed bridge part # 871906240. Also check R640 1K 1/2 watt if it`s burned up you`ll have a bad IC600, this is supposedly caused by an arc from the crt dag to Q600`s heatsink which isn`t grounded so it jumps to IC600, theres supposed to be a bulletin of some kind to stop this arc but I don`t have that info, Sony ASC`s might be able to help out, this is all I have, hope it helps, Larry E Larry Eastman American TV & Electronics Crystal River, Fl. 34428 ----- Original Message ----- From: "STERLING PASHER" <spasher@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 5:29 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Sony KV-214FV300 / BA-6 chassis Shuts itself of > Came into the store yesterday and will not stay on.
