YES!!  High speed switch regulator, did one recently and the 2SC4834 is just a 
bit higher
absolute ratings.

Customer started a generator to power his house and this set went out.On
the G board, the two choppers shorted, Q603,Q604 both 2SC4833, and the
.1 ohm, 1/2 Watt resistor R610 opened.
In my Tritronics "G board ps kit", it has two transistors but they are
2SC4834 (not C4833 like in my set). Are they interchangible?
