[TechAssist] Sharp Camcorder VL-AH160U eats tapes when recording

Sharp Camcorder VL-AH160U. Customer complaint was that the unit eats tapes, but
only during record. It does not do it every time he uses it, but it is getting
more frequent. I looked at it, but nothing obvious. I don't work on camcorders
very often, is there somthing specific I should look for in this model?
