Alvin - does your CRT tester have a remove shorts function? Might be
worth a try.

TXK2754 KS2A CHASSIS Reply=A0to: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi techs
We have a Samsung KS2A chassis which customer says had no picture..just
a lit screen with retrace lines..When we turned it on it shut down after
the picture tube filament heated up.I disconnected the socket from the
picture tube and it draws normal current and does not shut down..It
looks like a shorted picture tube..Has anyone had
=A0=A0this problem with this KS2A chassis and is there a repair for it.
