I replaced a FET in the P/S and the HOT, but as soon as I plugged it in the set came on and then clicked off. As the relay clicked on and off I noticed arcing inside of the picture tube. I then tested the picture tube and it of course tested bad. Now I know why I thought it was unusual for just the HOT and one FET in the P/S to be shorted. The picture tube took them out! Grumble, grumble. Next time I will test the picture tube when I am suspicious. Hope this helps someone else.
