[TechAssist] Samsung (Akai) TXK3276 was no picture, now no focus

I am working on an Akai CFT2790 (same as Samsung TXK3276) made in 2002. It
came in with no picture and found the spark gap on the screen voltage
connector on the CRT board to be shorted. When I cleared the short I have a
picture, the screen control works normally, but the focus control does not
change the focus but rather the brightness of the picture. I assume the
flyback arced internally. I was wondering if someone else had this problem
before I order the part. John.
