Try this. I just did one today. I solder bridged both sensors. TV on fine
now. No shut off.

Hi Techs
The customer tried to take the tape out and broke the carriage asmbly
completely, without the carriage the TV comes on but after few minutes comes
on. Is there a way we can disconnect the vcr part and just TV works.
If anybody knows how to work just the TV section. He told us he only wants
the TV to work.
