[TechAssist] Ricoh R-86S Camcorder, Rewind is slow, FF and Play fine.

Before I take this camcorder apart, has anyone seen this before: FF and
Play are fine, as is FF search, but normal rewind is really slow and
then stops after 10 seconds with flashing red light, and rewind-search
is somewhat slow but still works? Thanks.
