Unit will not power up.Have narrowed it down to the Gemstar module''I think''
U14104=12volt reg,has no i/p on pin 1.Q14104 & q14105 smd are good.The RUN/STBY
for this cct comes from U13101 pin 19 in the Gemstar module.Is there a way to
reset this module? I checked on Tritronics & the part # they give is
244160,which they say is N/A,use sub # 253023.My module has 2 ribbon wires,so
not sure if this is the module Tritronics is referring to.Every thing else in
this unit seems ok,HOT B+ is 138vdc.The 16vdc source which goes to the emmiter
of Q14104 is there,but is not turning on from Q14105[smd] via pin 19 of
U13101.So can this module be reset,repaired or do we just replace it & which is
the correct # for it.It's hard to beleive the 244160 is N/A on a 3 year old
set....TIA....
