Sounds like you may need to reinitialize the main eeprom with chipper check.

Never saw this one before, set plays normally for about 2 hrs then you will
lose remote control functions and front panel functions. Can't turn it off
or anything without unplugging the set. You can immediately replug the tv
and it will work fine for another 2 hrs.
I have already eliminated the keyboard and the connection interface board
with the IR on it where the keyboard plugs in. The problem is on the main
board.
Any Ideas, someone come across this before?
