Thank you Adolph Yes I have resolderd all that in the horizontal also that little coil that feeds the base of the Hot. I took it out and cleaned the leads before I put it back in. My horizontal drive waveform is normal and the picture looks very good no flaw or horizontal pulling at all just perfect. Only I found the high voltage way to low and maybe I have to take a oher voltage checker in case my VA 62 shows a wrong reading, that is still possible. I use the 100X stepdown probe and it shows 215 V. In stead of 26-28. I also checked the caps in the collector circuit of the ho transistor and they are fine, I keep looking and have to find the cause Thanks again John Smit ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adolph Gower" <agower@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 19, 2004 2:56 AM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: RCA TV F27628-CTC203AA13 > > Resolder driver transformer!!! > CTV ELECTRONICS RECYCLE & REPAIR > CORDOVA TV > 3415 Comet Court > Sacramento, Ca. 95827-2924 > agower@accessbee,com > agower@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Fax (916) 363-8359 > Phone (916) 698-6565 > Fax (916) 363-8359 > Phone (916) 698-6565 > agower@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > (916) 698-6565 > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "John H Smit" <jhsm@xxxxxxxxxx> > To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: 2004Äê10ÔÂ18ÈÕ 13:28 > Subject: [TechAssist] RCA TV F27628-CTC203AA13 > > > : Hello to all. > : I have this set and it will play for several days and it was taking out > : Q14302 a while ago and I replaces it again and checked all the voltages > in > : the power supply and the horizontal circuit, and it all looks good then > it > : shorted Q14301 the horizontal driver and did it again after two weeks > the > : only difference I could see was the collector voltage on Q14301 it shows > 72 > : volt on the Sams and it measures 81 volt. > : > : I rang the flyback and it gives 71 rings on the VA62,and then when I > read > : the highvoltage it is only 21.0 Kv instead of 26.0-28.0 KV. > : It never shorted out the horizontal out transistor which is unusual I > think. > : The drive waveform on the base of Q14401 shows a good waveform and > amplitude > : but on the collector the amplitude is lower then normal. > : I ran out of idea's to find the problem so I turn to Techassist for > help. > : So please give me a break and give me the answer. > : I appreciate any reply on this. > : Thank you in advance > : John H Smit > : Smit's TV Service > : Box10 > : Gunnison Utah 84634 > : 800-355-4948 Fax&Phone > : 435-528-7955 Fax&Phone > : jhsm@xxxxxxxxxx > : > : > : > : -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > : Lost Password: > : http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > : Email Archives: > : //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > : > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?".
