     Probably a POR problem, there is an update bulletin on this issue =
on
the Thomson web site. It can also be bypassed by unplugging the PIP =
board
and jumping pins 3,7,9 together and pins 5,6,8 together on plug #12101 =
for a
test or as a cure. As long as they don't use the PIP function of the =
unit it
can be left this way. I'm also sending the Thomson document to your
personnel email address. The PIP board is right beside the tuner on the =
left
looking from the back of the board.

Model G27649, Set came in dead. Clicks 4/5 times with HV each time it=20
clicks. Thought for sure was the FB but new one didnt fix a thing. Have =

V. on Coll. of HOT. Changed Gemstar Module, no change, Changed Q14101 =
and=20
14401, and the EEprom with no luck. Cant figure out what Im missing.  I=20
suppose its possible the new FB could have been defective but am kind of =

leaning away from that theory. Any help?  Thanks, Dave
