[TechAssist] RCA T25208 Remote intermittent

This M5853 chassis has intermittent remote operation which seems to be on the
receiver end as the hand unit always has an output. Also the IR (os101)
receiver,in the set, seems to output a pulse but no action.
Has anyone seen this failure?
