This 52" PROJO had horizontal lines in picture, with tearing at the sides. There was also a small 'horizontal' noise when the lines were present. I followed the noise to the deflection board and found black liquid goop on the solder side underneath C4807. I went to the component side and found C4807, a yellow .22M100 capacitor, held on by only one leg. The other leg had been eaten away by the black goop, which I am guessing was silicone used to keep C4807 from vibrating. I cleaned up the board and replaced C4807 (no silicone this time) and now there are no more lines or noise.
