  Robert:  Thanks for the reply.   120 volt is input on the primary of the 
transf.  I don't know the secondary voltage because it is not marked on the 
schematic.  Secondary of transf. goes into full wave rectifier.  Question is:  
are you saying the secondary on the Radio Shack is 12 volt with 120V applied to
