[TechAssist] RCA Model F32450YX01, Chassis ATC113CA1, Eats H. Outputs

This unit came in dead, replaced H.O.T., & repaired some poor looking solder 
connections in H.O. circuit.  Set came on fine, H.O.T. was running cool but 
blew after about an hour.  Used original part.  Am I looking at a bad flyback 
or is there something else in these sets that may be causing my problem.
