Here's another: Gary, look at the small stand up board in the center of the main chassis, it's under the top fan. There is a electrolytic cap on that board near center, can't recall location number but some sets got out with that cap in backwards and it will work for awhile but symptoms were intermittent sync or intermittent horizontal drive.
