Jason: Yeah I did that on one of them, Someone brought me that tip from
somewhere and I am playing the sets. I don't know if this is a fix because I
never saw it shutdown in the first place. I think I am going to send them
back home. Manufacturer warranty doesn't pay enough to baby-sit these sets
forever, I am already losing money and haven't even fixed them yet. Paying
two men to pickup and deliver these sets and not see a problem is ridicules
especially under warranty. Who knows if this shutdown ever happened? Lets
see, RCA made a profit, the selling dealer made a profit and poor mom and
pop repair shop loses money trying to find spit in the ocean. Something is
not right here. RCA can replace the sets if the customers still has
problems. Lynn are you listening???

Just a thought but there is a line filter molded into the a/c plug and I
think it is the same plug they use in the atc221 chassis. There is a
bulletin on the act221 that says the filter can cause intermittant shutdowns
or dead set. Even though the problem was suppose to be corrected in this
chassis and the bulletin is not listed for this chassis it is cheap to
replace.
