The only bypas I know of is this:
Connector P8003 (might say J3): cut wire #1 (black) and #8 (chroma
in/out) and join them. next,
cut wire #3 and #6 (luma in/out) and join them. (The wires that come
from the chassis are the ones you join, not the remaining stubs on the PIP)
See how that works.
