Very common for bad flybacks. Have you scoped the waveform at the collector
of the HOT? You should see the ugly waveform.

Good Morning Techs.
RCA F32444 , AC is applied to the set it comes on, stays on for about 5-7
seconds then shut down. Standby voltage on the collector of the HOT is 129V.
When
the set is turned on the collector voltag drops to 60v , within about 15-20
seconds the heat sink for the HOT becomes so hot you can barely touch it..
When
I remove the Hot the set does not go into shut down.
Any help will be appreciated
