Al,

Check transistor Q751 located on " Z" board(pincushion correction board) The
"Z" board is located on right hand side of chassis viewed from the back, its
in front of the flyback, if this transistor is open it can cause narrow,
bowed in sides. Voltages on this transistor are B-2.6v,  E-2.0v, C-10.2v,
these voltages are taken from hot ground, hot ground is the negative side of
C805(470m-200v) located in the power supply. The part # for Q751 is either
2SD637PQR(NTE/ECG 16) or 2SC1685PQR(NTE/ECG 85).
