[TechAssist] Quasar 32" TV - Changes Mode Randomly

Hello,
I did service on a set that had vertical height issues. Sometimes the
picture according to the customer would lose height and collapse randomly. I
replaced IC451(la7838) and
adjoining caps for good measure. Now the picture is fine
However the set will change randomly to "VIDEO" mode without using the
remote. I'm not sure if
I damaged the I/R sensor @ IC003 when removing and servicing the chassis or
if it's a processor issue. I also checked the switches "S006" AND "S007"
for defects, none found, also touched up solder joints.
Anyone with thoughts on this please chime in.
