TELEVISION magnavox 25m800 set would play 30 seconds, then shutoff resolder
pins 1and 3 of ihvt
TELEVISION MAGNAVOX 36M800 START UP C1
The micro (ref# 7200) is infamous for all kinds of shutdown and video
problems
This is from Philips. It applies to both the M8 and T8 chassis.
SYMPTOM: Shutdown (into protect) with no symptom shown.
CLUE: Adjustment of Sg2 (master screen on LOT) may resolve
but symptom may return.
POSSIBLE CURE: The LOT (flyback) 5445. Refer to Force for the
Service Code. Several returned samples have been discovered
with unstable/intermittent Sg2 controls. Monitoring the Sg2 voltage
may provide proof of this as the cause of protection
