Peter,
From Tech Repair CD:
NAP\TP3281 D7\No turn On\Flyback popped taking out Jungle IC and other stuff.
Many cases include loss of
H drive and others may have loss of video. There are several different
versions\of this chassis* so part
numbers may vary. These are the most common parts that die when the flyback
takes a dump... check them all
when replacing flyback (IHVT).\D7\see D7 Link in this NAP
table.\http://wa6ati.com/D7-DOC.pdf\\\\\\\

Magnavox\TP3281C101\Dead- indicator comes on clicks once\Good power supply
voltages including the 130v
supply\LED repeats a series of 4 short flashes and one long flash but the set
is otherwise
dead\32D700\When servicing either a D7 or G7 chassis the flybacks are a common
failure\There are several
components that also need to be checked as they can be damaged by the defective
flyback\Ref# 3610 22K
resistor part# 483511657706*Ref# 3331 47K resistor (SMD) part#
483511137445\Ref# 6328 Diode (SMD) part#
483513037095*Ref# 7325 Transistor (SMD) part# 532213060508\Ref# 7150 Signal IC
- Note: replace with part
number on IC (they depend on model)\\\\

Magnavox\TP3281C101\Dead set. The power LED may flash.\\\32D700\One possible
cause is the flyback
transformer(5630). First attempt to read the LED flashes\After the long on
flash* count the *off* flashes.
Use the Service Manual to look up the indicated fault\CAUTION: WITH AC POWER
REMOVED FROM THE
CHASSIS:\Examine the case of the flyback for bumps or bulges on the cylindrical
part.\Any indication of
expansion means the flyback is defective and must be changed.\When defective
flyback is disc\\\

Subject: [TechAssist] Philips TP3281C101 32D700-7570 shuts down post flyback

Philips
TP3281C101
32D700-7570
EMD782A001

Bad Flyback arced thru board from side of transformer to
between jumper at 9397 and 5660/9660.

Put in flyback # 3128 138 20623 can anyone verify this is correct,
numbers on Transformers match 1st 2 lines.
Checked the components listed on sheet with flyback and on the site
with the D7.doc too. HAve replaced IC 7150 also.

Problem now is that HV will usually fluxup for about 20 sec (just short
of getting picture) then shutdown. (has anyone converted the 7570
manual/schematic to PDF yet off the force cd?)
