[TechAssist] Philips TP2784C101 Chassis 27G700, Sound varies

Friends,
The television has reached a new low in serviceability. Labeling on the
board provides no clue as to the circuit. The audio level goes up and
down. My magnavox dealer says the service manual is $39.95. I will not
pay that much for an orphan TV (Don't get much Phillips/Magnavox, thank
God.)
But, I am curious. Have any of you run into this problem. The pix is
fine, the audio level just changes.
