Bright Scenes\Possible damage
to diodes in AKB Circuit\\PTV915\Replace Diode 6003 with part number 9340 553 
52115 and Resistor 3669 with
part number 4822 117 11503.\When Replacing the above parts also replace Diode 
6012 and Diode 6025 with
part number 9340 553 52115\\\\\\\

Philips\PTV910\No Picture* No Sound* High Voltage Okay\\\PTV910\Replace Diode 
6003 with part number 9340
553 52115 and Resistor 3669 with part number 4822 117 11503\When Replacing the 
above parts also replace
Diode 6012 and Diode 6025 with part number 9340 553 52115\NOTE: There have been 
2 version of this board.
To find which  version you have look at the top of the board for 3135 013 
3203.9.\These parts will be
found on board revision .9 only and does not apply to any other versions. They 
are located at D-4 on the
bottom of the board close to plug 1083. .\Diode 6003 is labeled however 
Resistor 3669 is not* it is
located next to pin 10 of plug 1083 and is the first part between pin 10 and 
the edge of the board\\\\

Magnavox\PTV916\akb circuit is shutting down picture (and audio) in order to 
protect Crt'S\When akb is
turned off the picture (such as it is) and audio is restored so technician can 
see the image and diagnose
area of fault\\PTV916\Common problem is the focus/G2 block. If the G2 is not 
perfect the akb will
activate. G2 voltage for this model should be set to 235V measured to cold 
ground\To disable akb
circuit:1. If remote control has a status button and cursor ring* enter the SAM 
by Entering 06-25-96
Status. Press cursor down twice* then cursor right once\2. If the remote 
control does not have a status
button or cursor ring* enter the SDM by entering 06-25-96-Menu. Then on the 
front of the set* press
and\hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together for 4 seconds to enter 
the SAM. Press cursor down
twice* then cursor right once\3. Unplug connector 1083 on the SSM until the 
CRT's begin to light* then
plug back in. (This procedure does not actually shut off the AKB* but it fools 
the signal  process\4.
Using the ComPair  service tool* you can turn off the AKB in the menu\5. Power 
the set on. Wait about 20
seconds. Using a 9V battery* connect the negative side to ground* connect the 
positive side through a 1K

Hi Group, I have a Philips model # 60P8341 (PTV915) comes on with high voltage
but no picture. turning up screens shows retraced. would the SSB cause this?
if anyone have a tip or schematic please share it with me.I would like to get
a schematic if possible.
