[TechAssist] Panasonic31" flyback, screen control on flyback is dirty and picture flashes.

Is it possible to drill a hole in the screen/focus area of the flyback
and spray Nutrol inside to clean the dirty control? Has anyone ever
tried this? Or is it best to just replace the flyback? TIA
