This feature prevents kids from playing video games by preventing the TV
from receiving channels 3 or 4. So if you have a model that won't receive
Channels 3 or 4, you might want to look at this.
If you don't know or the owner forgot the four digit code to remove this
feature, you will have to do the following:
Enter the service mode, then exit without making any changes.

To repeat the service mode:
1.. Select setup on the customer menu
2.. Select timer, then set sleep timer for 30 minutes
3.. Press action button twice to exit menus
  4.. Tune to channel 124
  5.. Adjust volume to minumum
6.. Press the volume down button on the receiver
7.. A red "CHK" should now be displayed in the upper left corner of the
screen.
You are now in the serviceman mode
8.. Press the action buton and the power button on the receiver at the
same time for at least two seconds to exit the serviceman mode.
