What an idiot I can be!! The problem was a bad regulator. It was so
obvious, we overlooked it. I had one of my techs put it back together
and set it aside for later. When another tech came in, I mentioned the
problem to him. "Maybe you got a bad regulator," he said. We pulled the
back & fired off the set. Cold spray on the chip (STK730-030) brought
back the stabibity. New chip. Problem solved.
