You know, all you guys with all these tips could really make the TechAssist online tips database grow by leaps. ;-) Could you (and others that have them) please zip them and send them to Jay, techassist@xxxxxxxxxx or myself, or better yet (since we are both very busy! :) possibly enter a few each day to the online database? http://www.circuitwork.com/techassist/tip/#tips If you can't, and are too busy, that's perfectly ok, I definitely know how that is. And of course please note no one is EVER under any obligation to do this, it would just really help all of the members out a lot, even yourselves, and it would attract even more members. We would also accept volunteers to enter them. <smile> We have been getting about 10 new members EACH DAY the past week or so, and 125 new members just in July....this will grow even more when NESDA prints the article about our list. This is supposed to be in next month's issue. -Clint Tech-Assist Administration http://tech-assist.org techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry" <schntv@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 13, 2001 9:29 Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Zenith posts-posts in general: I know what you mean. I have been saving tips in netscape, but it has become too big for me to really handle. I only have 80 meg. I sorted them into about 12 folders, but still hard for me to find what I want. Maybe I will have more time after my nesda expires. lol Larry Phil Bader wrote: > > Don't know who else keeps and archives the emails on their hard drive > like I do,but sorting is a pain.I am on four forums.Anatek's elrepair > and consumerel, techassist and yahoo TV group.I basically just seperate > into two areas: PC/monitor and consumer electronics.Probablt have > several hunderd megs now.It would be great if everyone would standardise > the subject line.insert anything you want, but first type "monitor", > "VCR", "TV", "Printer", "DVD", etc.Eudora mail programs could be set to > automatically sourt and send to those folders without a fuss.
