Mitsubishi TV CS2723R chas VM1-A-C23R -low contrast, poor color
This set came in with thin black lines across center of screen and the
picture was jumping up and down.
I have replaced about 22 caps in vertical, power supply, and jungle that
show signs of leakage.
Now I have a stable picture and CRT color temperature is not bad, but
the contrast is low with sub-cont. pot adjusted to max. and the color is
strange. It is like the red in the chroma is very weak. People's faces
look pale blue or greenish. Going through the tint range does not
correct it.
Is this a matter of changing all the caps around the jungle IC? (I found
2 that were noticably leaking) or is there a known fault other than that
for these problems?
