[TechAssist] Magnavox 25B800 still can't save eeprom settings page H

I was informed that I needed a service remote with
the "smart" button to save the adjustments on this
set.
I ordered Part no. 483521917656 from Tritronics.
I still can't get the data to save.
This remote actually has two smart buttons, one PIX
and one SND.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might
make.
I had to change the EEPROM because after fixing the
vertical failure, there was no video.
