Make : Apple/Mac
Model : M3705
Problem : Repeat failure of QP1

This was the notes from our first time working on this :

QP1 Shorted in primary of the SMPS. Original was a SSP5N80. Replaced with a
SSP5N90 ( 5 amp / 900V). Also found CP67 (22uf/35) leaking and CL87
(2.2uf/250V) leaking & very high ESR. Black residue on traces.

The SSP5N90 was recommended to me as a higher voltage (900v?)

Is there any reason why this part would NOT be a good sub in this monitor.

We ran the monitor for 24 hours at the shop & no problems....customer uses
it for a few days and it's back!

We've ESR'd and checked all components in that area......any suggestions /
Tips?
