The 'fix' I show for those flybacks is: Replace RX 3015 from a 5.6k 1/3w to 
a 10-12K ohm 1/3 watt.This resister is located on the 9-1674 pcb near the 
master width and height controls. (front of pcb.)
 This applies if set will stay on with no signal applied (snow) and 
brightness turned down.hth
