37 is for TV's under 25", and the 38 is for TV's over 25", or is it 27"?
Anyways the 38 will always replace the 37.

They ARE two diffenent numbers. The LA7838 is more heavy duty and will
replace the LA7837. I no longer stock the 37, just the 38's.
