I've never read that they can't be transported lying down, but I do know
when we get them in, they have a tilt meter on the box that says refuse
shipment if the meter has been activated. In none of the tech training we
have had has anyone ever said to not transport lying on its face. We have
been taught that is the way to work on them though. Greg
