From Tech Repair CD:
Sony\KV27FS13\Dead / Standby light flashes 4x\135v line pulses between 0v - 30v
several times* then unit
shuts down. Power on to recycle\\\D501 is leaky. Measures 80 ohms in both
directions\\\\\\\\

Sony\KV27FS13\Dead set standby light flashing\\\BA5\Found diode D616 on the
A-Board open\\\\\\\\

Sony\KV27FS13\Immediate shutdown at power up* 4 blinks of LED\\\\Disconnected
200v line to CRT board and
still shuts down. Horizontal Output checks good* 135v good* IC-502/pin 2
0v.\Unsoldered IC502 and still
shutdown and no +/- 13v* no HV rush at power up* no HD/VD drive at first power
up. Low B from D616 does
not come up at all\Found a transistor in place of D616 that was open* replaced
w/correct diode and unit
powered up and operated normally.\The transistor that was in place of D616 was
a 2SC4370 and did have
original solder indicating this came from factory this way. Transistor checked
open\Replaced D616
w/originally listed part number (871951037) and unit operated normally. Located
off of T603/pin 14 of the
power supply\\\\
