[TechAssist] JVC AV27D201 was Dead power surge now HV stays on

JVC AV27D201 DEAD by surge
Replaced STRF6626 (orginal sanken from dalbani)
came on good picture, sound every thing works and appears normal but,
Problem the picture and sound turn off and the power led goes out but the HV
and CRT filiments stay on.
Have found Q942 surface mount shorted (middle pin to right side shorted with
# up and 2 other pin facing you){number on part is not legable so specifics
are hard to get} disconnect and it fluxes when plugged in but no start.
Question what is Q942 and its value, What funtion is it preforming .... I
think it is some sort of hold down but not having schematic am not shure
what.
