Plug it in, may power on itself. Took many tries to power off manually. No volume control adjustment, no OSD. The one channel it was stuck on was OK. Tried replacing eeprom with micro, same. Fix: IC781 5V reg. Found a small three leg IC regulator, IC781 (KIA78S05) 5V reg with about +13V in, zero out. Replaced it with a stock 5V reg IC.Unit operates good now. There are holes at IC781 that would allow insertion of a standard LM7805 TO-220 type, but the smaller was in this set. -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
