Did you check if this set has a speaker switch in the back near the cable
input? I just finished a JVC AC-20CM3 that had no sound. I jiggled the
speaker switch and the sound came back.  I,ll probably replace the switch. I
think the wife was dusting the back of the set and accidently hit the
