[TechAssist] Impedance for Mike Input on Sound Card ?

Anyone know the General Impedance for the Mike Input on your basic Sound
Card? I got a PC Mike thats 600 Ohms, and its too low Volume no matter how
high the driver is Turned up. Is there a Matching Xfmr I could by for the
600 Ohm Mike ?
