[TechAssist] Hitachi PTV 50UX22B Intermittant "pink" picture

Hello everyone and Thank you to whoever has seen and fixed this problem.
I have been through several databases looking for any info on intermittant IK
or "white balance" circuit failures on this model. Customer said it's
intermittant (it is) and the picture turns "pink".
I demonstrated to the customer the various shades of color and she leaned
toward the green crt being cut off, however she also stated that it was
getting retrace lines, so I tried the red screen with retrace and it was too
red, not reddish purple like lack of green showed. Boy I hate intermittants
that don't show up while I'm in the home.
Anyways, there is NO Technical Tips at all in regards to the failure, and I'm
hoping sombody has had or seen this fault. This is an AP 53 CHASSIS. I have 1
of 2 choices to make on this.
1 Either red or green crt will have to be replaced, because the crt board does
not come as a separate piece. OUCH!!

2 The video jungle will have to be replaced, and that's an $80.00 part from my
source. OWWW!
So, I need your help. Anybody been seeing Ik failure, or video failure on the
AP53 chassis.
