This ended up with extensive run time to cause failure as bad connections in the tuner one next to the IC was completly broken free (near lower left corner of surface mount IC). A few other connection required touchup too. My first inclanation is that the Tuner is starting to fail possibly starting to loose a stage or that the input switch block is damaged, A simple thump test does not indicate connection problems and a visual check of the chassis does not indicate obvious connections. Anyone seen this or is the tuner the next step or is there an external IF or AFT drive on chassis that might be indicated.
