Here is some info on this.This made in mexico TV is dated Dec. 2000. Has
an RCA CRT (A68ADT27X01), a Philips tuner,LA7838 vert IC, other IC's
are: LA7674 sanyo (52 pin),TDA9855 , LC864721A5M76 (42 pin), TDA2616.
Flyback: "part no.30000392, shenzhen Baili electronics co." Unit has
the +5v standby,+99vdc on coll of HOT. Main v. reg is STRF6626. I assume
this is OK since the stby 5v and HOT B= is there. The red LED is lit
when plugged in, Push power and ADG is heard, hear HV then instant shut
down.I think I hear a series of chirps. I have never heard of this
make.I will change the LA7838 vert IC as a test to see if this is
causing it. I know the vert can do this. Any assist welcomed!
