Bingo! All I was missing was F601, a pico fuse. I thought the problem
was still in the vertical circuit but I did not know there were 3 fuses
in this set! Too bad they did not say this on the tuner like Toshiba
TV's do. Oh well, now I know for next time. Thanks to Willie and
others who responded on a Friday evening.

Do you have a fuse in the vert. circuit?(F601,0.75amp).if so check it.
