I found two jumper wires (by accident) that were labeled H-Sync and
V-Sync, and I traced them back to the signal cable.  The customer had
already soldered the R, G, and B wires (all color coded), so my job is
now done.

Customer tried to fix this himself by soldering in another signal cable.
Unfortunately he did not use an ohm meter and got some of the wires
wrong.  I usually use the old signal cable end to figure out which wire
goes where.  Of course the customer threw out the old signal cable end
which I now need!
