P/N is 875967670, generic is MSM56V16160F-10TS-K, subs to 875946347
generic MB811171622A-100FN.
Sony's refurb program is new and so far no price that I have found
although I am pretty sure the price to refurb will be the same as the
new board price if it were available. If I see this problem again I will
of course replace the IC since I now know the cause, it was impossible
to trace since I could not find anywhere that the dots would show up on
the scope. PTS had a rebuild price of a little over 100.00 but I was
pretty sure that if I sent it to them it would come back with the
problem still there.
